An idea was born in March under the hot Bavarian sun:
Let's take our little seahorse to its former home in the Pfalz this summer...
Pets are registered at the English channel tunnel.
Clerk: "Is this a donkey?" - "No!! A seahorse" - "Ah, very far from home" - "Indeed."
Not the exit of the tunnel but 500 km further Southeast. This town square was later drowned in sand for a beach volleyball competition!?!?
One more corner -
and I badly need new tires...
Uuuiiiiih. Now it is warm and comfortable... sweetie!
-- Should you not believe that it is tropical: check the next frame...
The Pfalz (engl. Palatinate):
30 deg C at 10 pm...
...decent food & wine...
... decent shade if needed...
...decently dressed girls...
...decent size living rooms...
...and after a 20sec walk enjoy decent dawn colours over the vineyards!
Eve lives in a vineyard called Paradiesgarten. Next to it are grapevines (one each) owned by Michail Gorbachev, Kohl, Thatcher...
...but even better is having breakfast with Eve while looking back to the house.
Don't sleep outside tonight! Dark forces may water you...
...but there are better ways to get wet! Why do these clouds never rain? Who can afford to water the lawn?
A torso emerges from the pool to get the lazy men in the country moving...
Come on the water is warm and pleasent: 30 deg C and much less chlorine than in a public pool.
Grandma says, "Children, the water needs a lot of stirring when hot" - who would I be to refuse my service...
800 bottles of tasty variety, mostly purchased by me :) and I didn't pay :) But I don't own them :( Well, I get a share, my "agent's fee" :)
Mmmmmhh...
"Brothers in charms"
35 deg C and no shade left! Schorle is best for the thirst - a chilled mix of refreshing white+sparkling water tastes a lot better than pure water!
The night is hot, and some juvenile "catholic youth DJs" play 80's music (good, I would not survive HipHop).
Cool off in the pool at 2 am.
More pictures, less text...!

Oh, I got married here!

I am not drunk, am I?
What happened to the seahorse, anyway... ??
