I am based at the Astrophysics Department of the University of Oxford working on the next generation of Extremely Large Telescopes.
Previously I worked in the UK Gemini Support Group in Oxford, and before that at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh. I also spent one year at the Gemini-North Observatory , Hawaii working on testing & commissioning of the GMOS instrument. Prior to that I was a postdoc at the European Southern Observatory and before that a postdoc at the U.C. Berkeley Astronomy Dept.
