GLE Magic

Click here to access a useful folder of scripts written in Perl, which are helpful with GLE.
Their purposes are explained below. This script converts a FITS file of your choice to a ".z" (ascii) file as used by GLE when creating image "colormaps". This can then be used to create awesome figures such as the Volcano example used on the GLE examples page here. This script creates an image (a colourmap) of any FITS file, giving the figure appropriate WCS axis labels according to the FITS header information. This is a useful way of creating a GLE template, which can be edited and tweaked as required.
