SISCO (Oxford plans) ==================== Hi all, please read this message carefully. http://www-astro.physics.ox.ac.uk/~sr/sisco.html includes some useful links for Oxford's involvement in the SISCO project. Please let me know if obvious people are missing from http://www-astro.physics.ox.ac.uk/~sr/sisco_participants.html -- it includes at present only those who've replied to my earlier email plus Gavin/Lance/Roger who are presumably on board (?). My understanding is that only those marked with a * on http://www-astro.physics.ox.ac.uk/~sr/sisco_participants.html are attending the Durham `kick-off' meeting. We have to make two contributions to the meeting. 30 minutes on current science summaries 15 minutes on suggestions for SISCO joint programmes. As telescope deadlines approach, please take the time now to suggest how you might contribute in the form of short talks. I would like by the end of the week to have a draft plan of how we will use this time. I intend to go to Durham by train leaving at 17.15 on the 30th. Let me know by the end of the week if you would like me to book tickets for you at the same time. Cheers Steve Rawlings PS: Eugenio Barrio has accepted our SISCO studentship, and will start Nov 1.
